This is the Abbeyfield Way and the Abbeyfield Rules:

Behaviour Support at Abbeyfield

At Abbeyfield, we follow clear steps to help everyone make good choices and follow our school rules. Here’s what happens if you need support:

Redirection

Your teacher will guide you back on task, often without speaking to you.

Reminder

If needed, your teacher will quietly remind you of the Abbeyfield Rules while the class is working

Caution

If you are still not following the rules, your teacher will give you a caution.

Break Time Reflection – 5 minutes

If the behaviour continues, you will spend 5 minutes in Break Time Reflection.

Break Time Reflection – 10 minutes

If it still continues, you will spend 10 minutes in Break Time Reflection.
A text will be sent home to let your family know.

SLT Reflection

If you have three or more 10-minute reflections in a half term, you will go to SLT Reflection at lunchtime.
You will have a Restorative Conversation to think about your behaviour. A copy will be sent to your family.

Behaviour Plan

YIf you have three or more SLT Reflections in a half term, you will go on a Behaviour Plan.
You and your family will meet with a Senior Leader to agree next steps.
