Position:            Learning Mentor

Salary:               Grade 5 (£21,074 – £24,657) pro rata

Hours:               37 Hours per week 42 weeks per year (training days plus 3 weeks)

Contract:           Permanent

A vacancy has arisen giving internal candidates the opportunity to apply for the position of Learning Mentor to substantiate our existing team.

A highly motivated, committed and flexible Learning Mentor is required to work within the pastoral team to achieve consistent improvement and development.

The successful candidate must be:

  • Understand the learning and wider social needs of children who have a diverse set of skills and abilities
  • Be resilient and able to maintain a professional and positive approach at all times
  • Be committed to the safeguarding of all children, in line with school expectations
  • Provide support and guidance to children and those engaged with them
  • Promote effective participation, enhance individual learning, raise aspiration and achieve full potential
  • Manage your time effectively.
  • Be able to communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including MAST & Social Care
  • Plan and deliver holiday activities thoughout the year
  • Attend and contribute to meetings such as CIN and TAF
  • Build positive relationships with parents/carers.

 A vacancy has arisen giving for the position of HLTA to substantiate our existing team.

We are looking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant with previous experience of working in Primary Education, from Foundation stage 1 to KS2. The successful candidate will work closely with strong committed teams enabling pupils to achieve their personal best. The successful candidates will be expected to supervise whole classes including planning and teaching the curriculum, managing pupil’s behaviour and assisting pupils in relevant activities. Candidates should state current professional practice and outline how they see their role in enhancing, supporting and developing our children’s learning.
