Safety Measures

  • In order to minimise the risk of children contracting Covid 19 in school, each class will be viewed as a bubble and detailed timetables have been put in place to ensure that these bubbles meet as little as possible.
  • Children will be required to sanitise their hands on entry to the school grounds and then at set points in the day.
  • Throughout the day, regular cleaning of classrooms and communal areas has been organised and additional cleaning staff will be joining our team.
  • From September, no parents will be allowed on the school premises unless they have booked an appointment first.  We ask parents that when you collect your child you also try to maintain social distancing while at the school gates.
  • Sheffield City Council Update: Getting Children Back to School Safely in September

  • Children will need to wear full school uniform in September.
  • Children will still be receiving two PE lessons a week and on these days children should wear their PE kit to school.
  • Children can continue to bring their book bag to school every day.
  • A healthy school snack can be brought for break time.

Lunch and break times

  • To minimise the chance of cross contamination between home and school so we are asking that no child goes home for dinner.
  • Children and staff will stay on site for the whole day.
  • Please do not bring any footballs in or other play equipment for break and lunch time.

Catch-up Funding and Plans

  • Many of our children have lost a significant amount of learning following the temporary closure of England’s primary schools between March and August 2020. If this is not addressed it will have a devastating effect on the outcomes and prospects for our children. The trust has a huge task in hand and we are preparing to invest heavily to ensureChildren will be required to our children not only catch up but surpass their age-related expectations wherever possible. Please click on the link below to see how we are planning on spending the catch-up funding allocated by the Government. This is a working document and costings are approximate
